It's not an idea problem but a recognition one. How many times have we heard that "we don't have to reinvent the wheel" and how many times have ideas that stemmed from existing concepts or products actually created a bigger boost on sales and revenue than starting all the way from scratch? Not to mention the costs involved with creating a whole new product or service. This is certainly a topic worth thinking about.
